Harvest Pointe Chiropractic & Integrative Health Centre was established in 2018 to help patients feel and move better. One of our key goals is to provide top notch care in chiropractic using our best clinical judgement and evidence-based research. This means that patients are our top priority.
We are a team consisting of two chiropractors, both trained in Toronto, Ontario and three registered massage therapists. We are a multidisciplinary clinic utilizing chiropractic, massage therapy, and acupuncture treatments. We work as a cohesive team in offering a focused and compassionate care to our patients.
If you are living in Alberta and have been in a car accident and in need of treatments for your injuries, fill out the necessary form such as an AB 1 form and we will do the rest. Our chiropractors are trained to assess for injuries, such as whiplash injury, and set you up with an appropriate treatment plan.
Car accidents are one of the most common injuries we see in our clinic. Even with the steps of safety precautions taken to avoid a car accident or injury, they can still occur based on other drivers’ recklessness, weather conditions, and unforeseen instances.
Our chiropractors, acupuncture providers, and registered massage therapists are trained to treat auto-related injuries. Some of the most common auto-related injuries we see at our clinic include:
• Whiplash
• Chest pain
• Neck pain
• Shoulder pain
• Knee pain
• Back pain
• Strains
• Sprains
• Hip pain
• Ankle pain
• Arm pain
While some motor vehicle accidents require short-term treatments to recover from, other injuries can be more severe and can take months to even years to heal.
After being in a car accident many of our patients seek treatment from a chiropractor due to soreness in the body, headaches, and sometimes jaw pain.
Whiplash is one of the most common auto injuries we see at our clinic. With whiplash treatment, our chiropractor will focus on reducing the inflammation that is often seen within the neck after a car accident. Acupuncture, gentle stretching, soft tissue therapy, home care exercises, and manipulation are some examples that we will use at our clinic to help with whiplash.
Not all symptoms from an auto accident are noticed at the time of injury after an accident, there are some delayed injury symptoms that can occur which need to be watched for. Some of these symptoms include:
• Headaches
• Neck pain
• Shoulder pain
• Stiffness
• Back pain
• Swelling
• Stomach pain
• Numbness
• Changes in physical function
• Changes in personality
• PTSD
Chiropractors are trained to take a thorough health history, perform a focus physical examination, provide diagnosis, and provide a treatment plan to help:
• Relieve Pain
